Before you start
- A Google account with access to Google Ads, directly or through a manager account (MCC).
- The owner or admin role in your organisation in Marketing Workspace. A specialist can connect accounts if they have the “Management” permission ticked.
Step by step
- 1Create an account with “Sign in with Google” at marketing.roition.com. Signing in only gives us your email address and name, with no access to advertising data.
- 2Add a client: Clients → Add client (name and industry). A client is the company whose campaigns you run, including your own.
- 3Connect Google Ads: Settings → Connections → the “Google Ads” button. Google shows its own consent screen with the scope of access. You pick the Google account and accept.
- 4Link the account to the client in the “Clients and GA4 properties” section (Settings) with “+ link Ads account…”. The list shows active client accounts, including those available through an MCC.
- 5Fill in the client brief (goals, currency, notes) and click “Save brief”. The assistant takes it into account in every analysis.
- 6Ask your first question in the Google Ads module, e.g. “How did the campaigns perform in the last 30 days?” or “Where are we wasting budget?”.
Result: the assistant fetches the data it needs from the account and replies with an analysis and conclusions for the selected client. The conversation stays in the module history, so you can come back and ask follow-up questions.
What you give access to, and what you don't
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Do you share your Google password? | No |
| Does the system change anything without you? | No |
| Who sees the account data? | Your organisation |
| Where do you revoke access? | Settings → Connections |
Analysis only reads data. Every change on the account, such as a budget or a negative keyword, waits for your approval. First you see the current and the new value, then the system makes the change, reads it back and records it in the change log.
Common problems
I can't see “Connections” in Settings
Connections are visible to the owner, admins and specialists with the “Management” permission. Ask the organisation owner to connect the account or to give you that permission.
My Google Ads account is not on the list
The list only shows active client accounts that the Google account used for consent can access. Check in Google Ads whether that email address has access to the account, or add a connection from a different Google account.
How to revoke access
In the panel: Settings → Connections → “Disconnect”. We then revoke the consent at Google, delete the token and unlink the account from clients. Chat history, reports and the change log remain. You can also remove access on Google's side at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
The full list of permissions and what happens after disconnecting is in the documentation: Account connections and permissions.

Frequently asked questions
How much does connecting a Google Ads account cost?
Connecting is free. The Marketing Workspace subscription is PLN 99 net per month for each company you run in the panel, and the first month is free with no card required.
Does it work with a manager account (MCC)?
Yes. After consent, the list shows active client accounts available through the MCC. You link each of them to the right client.
Can Marketing Workspace break something on the account?
Analysis only reads data. Changes are possible only after your approval and from a closed list: budgets, bids, statuses (pause, enable) and negative keywords. Budget and bid changes have a percentage cap per operation.
